Title: Just Under the Clouds
Author: Melissa Sarno
Publisher: Knopf Books for Young Readers
Release Date: June 5, 2018
It’s about a girl named Cora and her sister and mom don’t have a home. Her dad
recently had a heart attack and passed away. Someone broke into their place at
the homeless shelter so they had to go to her mom’s friend’s house. Her mom
works to make money to get a home. Along the way Cora makes friends.
Cora is my favorite character because even though she has a tough life she
keeps on going no matter what. At the end of the story I kind of knew what was
going to happen. The end was my favorite part because they eventually found a
place that felt like home.
The story kept my attention. I would recommend this book to people who like
books where at first things are tough but then at the end they figure it all out and
also for young readers who like drama. Overall, I think this is a good book.
