I was determined to finish this book. It was gripping. Stuart, a boy in elementary school, was very behind on a school project. His dogs were concerned and wanted to help him. They wanted to see what school was like and why Stuart was so depressed. But there were no dogs allowed in school. So the two dogs found a trench coat in the closet and one got on top of the other, they put the trench coat on, and walked to school half way through the day pretending to be a new student. They fooled everyone except Stuart! Will Stuart, with his dogs’ help, finish the project in time?
Kids who like dogs, silliness, school projects, and love to laugh will like this book.
I recommend this book to ages 8-12 and grades 3rd-5th.
