This story is about a boy named Toby who lives with his uncle, Gabriel. Toby wanted to be a detective and his idol is a detective named Hugh Abernathy. But Toby’s uncle thought that Hugh was just an “ostrich.” One day, when Toby goes to a party and someone gets murdered, he discovers deep secrets. So begins a journey of mystery, crime and drama. My favorite part of the book was at the end when Toby finds out what really happened on the night of the murder. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys murder-mystery books. I also think that this book is good for anyone who likes a big surprise at the end of the story. I rate this book 4 stars out of 5.
