Ronit and Jamil have an inseparable love. They look past each others culture, country, and religion. However the rest of society doesn’t see it that way. Israeli’s and Palestinian’s weren’t to be together. Jews and Muslims couldn’t roam the streets together. It was against everything. Against the war. This is an amazingly story, crafted in poems, and much like the story of Romeo and Juliet, Ronit and Jamil have a wonderful love, separated only by their society and family. This is a quick read, but I loved the sincerity of it. I would reccomend it for 12-15.
